Day 1
Depart for a half day drive west via Mubende to Kibale National park, passing though verdant countryside, traditional homesteads and farms. With a scenic drive of the fabulous "Mountains of the Moon,” have a stop over at Fort portal town for lunch.Continue to the lodge, check-in and have an afternoon off relaxing.
Overnight at Ndali Safari Lodge (Luxury) or Rwenzori View Guest house (Midrange) or Kanyankyu ecological centre (Budget)
Day 2
This day after breakfast, report to the ranger station at 08.00am to track habituated chimps. Start your search for Chimpanzees and over 13 species of primates including red tailed and grey cheek Mangabey, Birds and other primates. Have a wonderful experience viewing other mammals including smaller elephants, giant forest hog, buffalo, and antelope species. The guide will provide detailed explanations on flora and Fauna to ensure that your walk is both enjoyable and informative. Overnight at Ndali Lodge/Rwenzori View Guest house (FB)
Day 3
After breakfast depart for Lake Mburo National Park. Stop for lunch en-route, and thereafter proceed to the park, which is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with a variety of attractions; it is dominated by extensive wetlands, rolling grassy hills, seasonal and permanent swamps, wooden savannah, and forests, which harbors a variety of plants and animal After checking in, you will take a late afternoon game drive or a dug out canoe. Dinner and overnight at Mantana tented camp/Mihingo lodge (high end) or Rwonyo camp (Budget)
Day 4
After an early morning breakfast you will have a guided nature walks on foot through the bush to see zebra, African Eland, Impala and Africa’s largest antelope! Depart to Kampala late afternoon, and transfer to hotel. Otherwise transfer to Airport for your flight back home. END OF UGANDA SAFARI.
