UGANDA SAFARIS ITINERARY TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

2 DAY LAKE MBURO TOUR AND SAFARIS

Day 1
Your safaris guide will meet you at hotel and depart by road to Lake Mburo National Park. A stopover to look at the Equator for photographs, and at Royal Drum makers, with Lunch en-route. This scenic drive will give you views of big herds of zebra, impala, eland and other ungulates and Bird viewing opportunities are excellent - for birders, this is one of the best places to find African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike. After checking in, you will take a late afternoon game drive or a dug out canoe. Overnight at Mantana tented camp/Mihingo lodge (high end) or Rwonyo camp (Budget)
Day 2
After an early morning breakfast, you will have a nature walk which offers a chance to see at least four different species of animals at any one point while they lick the salty soil where you can see zebra and Impala and it’s also the best place to see the African Eland, Africa’s largest antelope at a strategically located wooden platform. Return to Kampala arriving in the early afternoon. END OF THE SAFARI.
